What To Expect
From the second you call our office to the moment you leave, we do all that we can to make sure we've made your day a little brighter and your spine a little straighter!
On arrival you will be greeted by one of our Chiropractic Assistants who will guide you through the necessary paperwork required for your first appointment. Our Chiropractic Assistant will also provide you with a brief description of where to find the toilets, water machine and provide you with a brief background regarding our clinic and the services we offer.
Once the new patient intake forms have been completed our Chiropractic Assistant will take you to one of our private consulting rooms where you will meet your treating Doctor of Chiropractic. During this consultation, the type of care you desire will be discussed; whether it be quick-get-me-out-of-pain treatment for acute conditions or I-love-chiropractic-and-can't-go-without regular maintenance care.
The Initial Chiropractic Assessment at Wellsure Chiropractic Caloundra
The qualified Doctors of Chiropractic at Wellsure Chiropractic Caloundra are experts in their field and will always perform a comprehensive examination to better understand your body and the direction of treatment. The initial examination will include a detailed case history, physical examination, and onsite x-rays. Your physical capacity will be assessed using a combination of movement, flexibility, postural, muscle, joint and nerve tests. X-rays will be performed if there are signs of disc injury, neurological signs, pronounced postural findings or a history of trauma (such as car accidents and broken bones).
Upon completion of your initial consultation, our expert Chiropractor will guide you through their findings, including the nature and cause of your presenting issue. Provided your case is one we can help, you will recieve your first treatment on this first visit.
Follow Up Visit: The Report Visit
On your second consultation, your Chiropractor will spend some extra time with you to discuss your response to treatment, along with an outline of recommendations for care, which may include specific exercises for you to incorporate as well. The goal of the recommendations will be to restore function by correctly removing the source of the problem.
Our team want you feeling your best, and your progress towards optimal spinal health will be consistently monitored. Progress reports may be scheduled so that comparative postural exams can be performed to illustrate your improvements or where a little more work is required.
